Vande Bharat Express is an inter-city semi-high-speed rail service operated by the Indian Railways. The predecessor of Shatabdi and Janashatabdi Express, these train services connect various Indian cities which can be reached within a time frame of 10 hours. The maximum permissible speed is limited to 160 km/h on a section of the Delhi-Bhopal service while maintaining a speed of 110–130 km/h on other services keeping in mind the Indian conditions like multiple stoppages, traffic congestion though these trains under Vande Bharat can achieve significant speeds.
