The National Sports Awards 2023 were announced by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and he is now confirmed to get the prestigious Arjuna Award.

The former, along with 26 other Indian athletes, will be honored by the President of India on January 9, 2024, at Rashtra Pati Bhavan. After Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna, the Arjuna Award for Outstanding Performance in Sports and Games is India’s second-highest honor for a sportsperson.
