Indian Automotive market has seen a boom in the post-COVID era becoming the 3rd largest automotive market in the world at present time. Also, the rise in demand for SUVs seems increasing now among Indians. Considering these facts manufacturers are supposed to launch the following SUVs in 2024 to cater to the stipulation.
Hyundai Creta Facelift(SUV), 2024:
Hyundai is ready to launch the facelifted version of one of its best-selling SUVs, “The Creta”, on January 16, 2024. Hyundai Creta to receive significant updates both inside and out. Advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) to be introduced in the facelift version, making the car safer. It will also feature a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, to match up the power figures of its rivals. The car competes with the Suzuki Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos.

Tata Curv:
Tata Motors is expected to launch another new vehicle in the segment of mid-size SUVs namely “Curvv” in 2024, targeting competitors the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos. It is expected that the car will be available in both ICE and EV modules. The specific details are yet to be revealed, the EV version is expected to have a range of 400 to 500km. Thus making the drive pocket-friendly in terms of engine efficiency and drawing interest from the eco-friendly drivers.

Kia Sonet Facelift 2024:
Booking for the Kia Sonet facelift is already underway though the launch has been scheduled in January 2024. The new version of Sonet 2024 is fully equipped with features like six airbags, LED sound-ambient lighting, and bigger HD touchscreen navigation with connected technology. It is also supposed to have a 360° camera. The 2024 Kia Sonet will be arriving with 25 safety features and 10 ADAS features.
The Kia Sonet competes against the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV300.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door:
The launch of the Thar 5-door in 2024 has been confirmed by Mahindra. It will be a direct rival to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door. The Thar 5-door is expected to feature LED headlamps with circular LED DRLs, and a set of designer alloy wheels mounted with the new infotainment system, among other updates.

Nissan X-Trail:
Following the success of the Magnite, Nissan is expected to introduce the “X-Trail” in the Indian market by the middle of 2024, This is the fourth generation of X-Trail, that is going to launch in India and hence is currently undergoing tests in India. Based on the Alliance CMF-C platform offering both strong hybrid and mild hybrid engines. With premium features like a 12.3-inch TFT multi-information cluster and NissanConnect touchscreen. The new Nissan X-Trail is likely to compete with the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, and Jeep Meridian.
