Introduction:
The winners of the Padma awards have been declared for the year 2024. Among the awards, the Padma Vibhushan has been awarded to 5 people while the Padma Bhushan award has been awarded to 17 people and the Padma Shri has been conferred to 34 individuals for their extraordinary works in their fields and upliftment of society.

Padma Vibhushan Award:
This award is the second-highest civilian award in India. In 1954, Padma Vibhushan was awarded to Satyendra Nath Bose, Nand Lal Bose, Zakir Husain, Balasaheb Gangadhar Kher, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, and V. K. Krishna Menon, for the first time.
Padma Bhushan:
This is the third-highest civilian award of India also constituted in 1954. 23 recipients were honoured with the award for the first time.
Padma Shri:
Padma Shri is the fourth-highest civilian award of the Republic of India also instituted in 1954.
